hello everyone
I have i9300
I installed latest Twrp and blisspop 5.1.1 official
yesterday, I ran antutu benchmark. and after that a greenish pixel line started traveling from left to right on bottom half of screen. restarting fixed it.

today I installed boeffla kernal for cm12.1 through recovery
when i clicked reboot color like these given in pictures came on screen but twrp menus faded

I pulled out battery and replugged. still same issue
I pressed vol down + home + power to take it to download mode, and then pressed volume up to continue
installed official rom through odin
issue still persist and it show number of samsung logos. LED light blinks. gyro gives red light



please suggesti any solution

These are the promising ROM's that I've found so far, but none of which is updated to the latest CM12.1 build:

my s3 gt-i9300 is soft bricked... i have tried kies and odin but i didn't work... it gives the following error..

Please can you assist me.
I've read through so many threads explaining that it is easy to fix if I use ODIN. However I cannot seem to get ODIN to recognize my Galaxy S3.

I was doing a factory reset on my device, which has Cyanogenmod installed. Upon rebooting, the phone is now stuck with the Teamwin logo and it continues to loop.
In cannot seem to charge the phone because it's stuck in this mode and when I install ODIN and along with the SAMSUNG USB Drivers. I have no luck with my computer recognizing the device. I am able to get into the Download mode by holding Power, Volume Down and Home buttons - I click Volume up to continue. I then check my ODIN screen and it never appears to say ADDED or anything of that sort.

I'm scared that my phone is going to soon run out of charge and then I will not be able to even attempt to fix this. Please help me.
I've tried the above steps in both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 and cannot get either of them to recognize my device.

N.B. I have also tried different USB ports as well as different USB cables.

Once again, I plead for any assistance.

I have a stock 4.3 on my son's S3.
Now I'm wondering why there are not updates shown in the My Apps section in the Play Store. If I search for the update manually, the update is shown.
Even in the App Manager the Apps are not shown (e.g. Play Music, the Galaxy Apps etc.).
I already performed a factory reset but without success.
And I have to say: I don't know what the former owner has done with the phone but it seems not to be rooted.

Hello i found on romzj.com ,flyme 0s 4.5 for our s3 ,but this rom have some problems like a lot of chinese apps and no gapps and chinese words on some apps and is possible for someone who understanding all this to fix this problems and post this rom on xda forum

Hello!
Im Just install CyanogenMod 11 for my SGS3. But default player (Apollo) no good for me. Im remember was a good default music player on my old Samsung Galaxy Ace called just "music". So im looking a working on CyanogenMod 11 default KitKat music player?

BOYS I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!! HERE IS THE FINAL SOLUTION FOR G.P.S. FC'S!!!

The problem is caused by libjavacore.so Arter released a fix for (what i think) lollipop releases only for info, DONT FLASH!. it forces a bootloop for 4.4.4.
BUUUUUUT Markox89 released this issue fixer but i was scared of destroying all optimzed libs and data from archidroid. so i copied Markox89s libjavacore.so aaaaaaaand it works!!!!
So step by step now:

1. download attached libjavacore.rar AND EXTRACT!!!!
2. Put the libjavacore.so somewhere on your phone
3. restart to TWRP (recovery)
4. make a nandroid backup (to be save if bootloop) --> full backup
5. open up mount and mount system
6. go to advanced and open file manager
7. now copy the new libjavacore.so (press on it and copy)
8. go to /system/lib
9. paste it
10. not sure if necessary but i pressed on libjavacore.so and sed chmod 755
11. reboot problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!
12. wipe data and cache from gps to avoid wakelock!
13. install myandroidtools from playstore
14. reboot.
15. open myandroidtools --> services --> system
16. go to Google Play Services and google-services-framework and enable (make a tick at) at "System update service". (this will stop the google play services wakelock)
17. reboot. and your done :)

hello im having a problem with my phone i just flashed it to android revolution hd and success then it tried to boot into home screen but stayed on the logo screen for ages then i tried to reboot into recovery mode but it just goes to logo screen then i went into odin mode but and it wont detect my phone and then i plugged my phone into wall charger and it goes to logo screen and then stays at logo screen and tried to boot into recovery mode but doesnt do anything

Hi everyone. I was having my s3 I9300 (stock rom; never rooted before) for like 2 years & with no flaw. Two weeks ago, I noticed that after it gets really battery low, the screen starts flickering weird horizontal lines, but it never freezes and shuts off.

However, 2 days ago, I was downloading something using the stock browser (blue earth icon), soon after, i turned the wifi off only to find out that my downloading was still going (downloading some album from tusfile.com) then in a blink of an eye, the moment I immediately turned it back on, the screens starts showing "flickering movement (just horizontal lines)" then immediately freezed. I was waiting for like 50 minutes, then decided to remove the battery.

After putting it back, then turned it on, "flickering" then freezes, then shuts itself off (i repeated the cycle twice or thrice, but it keeps doing the same sh*t) . After 10 minutes without putting the battery, i put it back in, turned it on. But this time, as soon as it got turned on, i immediately locked the screen by pressing the power button once (i just turned the screen off just to make the screen black)

After 10 minutes, i decided to use it again & everything was fine. The moment i tried the app "screen filter" just to darken the screen up, then the whole sh*t started again. I will never use that app again.

After 10 minutes of removing the battery, switched to recovery mode (in that mode, That green android was seemed lying down, it says "no command", & with a big red exclamation mark, he seemed dead) then I wiped the "cache partition", then factory reseted it, turned it on & everything was okay.
Since my phone was factory reseted, I download some app (Google Keep) and that app wanted me to update "Google Play Service". I was updating it fine, after it reached 87%, the whole sh*t started again but this time, I TOTALLY CANT TURN THE SYSTEM ON AGAIN!, unless i clear the "cache partition", then turned it on again. I repeated the cycle again, then decided to stop rely on Google Play again.

Then whole same thing happened when i was using G mail. Then Google Play. Then Play Service.

Shall I root my phone? Flash it to "CM12.1?

Hi guys,

I have recently lost my S3 which is a huge shame as I loved this phone a lot.

According to Google map location history, the phone is being switched off intentionally shortly after I lost it, my sim card has a pin lock on it so there is no worries about someone making calls using my phone. However my phone itself does not have any security lock to bypass the lockscreen. So I would like to ask a few questions about my data and linked account on my phone, if someone pop another sim card into the phone and turns it on will that person be able to access my Gmail/Facebook/Any apps that has my credentials saved already?

Of course to be on the safe side I will be changing all my passwords but just for peace of mind I would like to know what are the chances that person can access my accounts with a new sim card?

So,this phone is my very first one since 2013,and because i LOVE to tinker every software(even on pc) i decided to tinker my very first smartphone to the best performance possible :o!

I Learned a lot about this phone and 2 years later i decided to help others reach this point of optimization for this phone.. :o


MY choice for android version for this phone is Jellybean(4.3) :o and i can explain why.
I choose this version because we want to operate our phone without A-N-Y bugs or FC's...
I choose this version because we want to get the best out of our camera....
i chose this version because I think(please dont sent hate posts) :o its the lightest software WHILE maintaning stability :fingers-crossed:
Well lets get started then!!



ROM:The best jellybean rom in terms of performance PLUS stability (my personal opinion again) is Just archi'shttp://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-root-t2855613, (IMHO The best developer for this phone ).

this rom use very little resources and it is as close to stock as possible with the basics (in terms of flexibility) baked in :good:

Also we all hate to admit that Sammy stock ROM is the most optimized because their sources is closed (so in sammies 4.4.2 -4.4.4 that developers port is laggy after some long term use so we cant blame them).


KERNEL: I chose this kernel because WHILE having enough stability,it delivers MASSIVE performance boost-And this is Boeffla's in synergy with zanezam's boeffla kernel with uber toolchain http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...moove-t2629184 http://boeffla.df-kunde.de/zanezam/l...g/jb43/stable/. THUMBS UP TO THESE DEVELOPERS :good: !!!

OPTIMIZATIONS: I'D like to share my boeffla kernel profile.this profile is aimed just a bit to performance while having good Sot's (4 hours+)...


Use Greenify!!! Its the best app available capable of hibernate you apps of CHOICE,freeing RAM to make the device snappy :cool:
i'd recomment to use it with XPOSED as you have more options to hibernate even system apps! :good:
(optional)Launcher replacement: IMHO the best launcher available is Nova launcher.its very lightweight but with tons of customizations+you can download a huge variety of themes to personalize your phone! :good: http://onhax.net/nova-launcher-prime...is-herelatest/



ADBLOCK: use Adaway.It saves you from these ads that not only they are irritating,but you save a LOT of cpy cycles,which means cooler phone,still snappy while browsing etc.




Xposed modules:the only frustration about this rom for me is that it has no advanced reboot.. :(But its obvious because rom is as close to stock as possible). so if you want this you must install APM+ module found in download section inside xposed installer or by this link: http://repo.xposed.info/module/hk.ke...xposed.apmplus.

SOUND:After a lot of scripts and mods about sound in our phone,i decided to settle to [/FONT]V4A app and their drivers because it has INSANE volume boost WHILE maintaining quality :good: :o.
music application of choice is "Music" by SONY because i find it to work best with V4A. just move the apk to system app to work.normal install dont work! :o

SYSTEM APPS REMOVAL: I removed those system apps,freeing a good chunk of storage AND RAM, WHILE maintaining stability and no FC'S or bugs or anything.

Hi I have two Samsung S3s and I flashed both of them with blisspop a few weeks ago. One I bought 14 months ago off giffgaff the other is about 2 years old off virgin mobile.

Both phones appear to run well when connected to the mains charger but when I take them off charge after approx 30 mins of use, the screen backlight begins to flicker and then the phone goes to the Samsung SIII spalsh and begins to bootloop until I connect the charger at which point the phone boots and begins optimising apps. When the phone comes back on it shows low battery usually 4% even if the battery was 75% when it shutdown.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas what the problem could be? I have searched this forun and Google but can't find the exact problem. When I first noticed it, I did think it could be the battery on its way out but as its both phones I don't think so and they both charged and discharged fine before I flashed them. I have also tryed cm11 and cm12 and the problem is exactly the same in all roms for me.

Hi guys,
I have problem with my friend phone.
He asked me to install Blekota s5 Lite on his phone.
I installed him and phone worked great about 1.5 months, then he got a message that he need to update rom.
When he updated rom he couldn't call anybody, use SMS or Mobile data.
Then he without my knowledge reset phone to " factory reset" through settings.
After that he has full formated mobile phone ( even storage has been formatted ).
Then he called me and said what he did.
I tried do factory reset through CWM, but the problems haven't gone.
Then I flashed phone with odin and stock firmware but nothing has changed.
Then I tried install stock firmware with Kies3/Tools/Firmware Upgrade and Initialization.
Kies flashed firmware successfully but again nothing has changed.
I tried GalaxSimUnlock, but it show that phone is unlocked.
I then tried to backup EFS, but it showed that it can not make backup.
Then I tried *#06# and it showed that IMEI is normal.

I know it's a long post but can anyone help me?
