[Q] I9305 LTE TeamWin Bootloop
Hey Guys!
I need urgent help, i had rooted my galaxy s3 LTE, and installed Lollipop via CanaynogenMod, it was working fine and i think did a factory reset from with in the OS, and after that it is in BOOTLOOP just shows TEAMWIN logo and consistantly rebooting to it. I have tried to do the same process to get the TWRP screen i don't get it :( can't fix it, tried every possibility, i have used ODIN3 to re partition it as well,
it don't work, now i tried to use another RECOVERY CLOCKWORK and its stucked on :

<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/005> Initialzation..

NO SIGNAL / IMEI NULL / BASEBAND FIX EFS Samsung Galaxy s3 shv-e210k
Hello guys, i have the solution to this annoying problem.
The problem itself is that the file nv_data.bin suffered some change or was deleted by installing a ROM or when you flash your phone.
The solution is change that file with one that is in good condition, but can not be from any phone, it must be of the same model.
I will leave the required folder to resolve this, this folder is called efs and I got it after 3 days of searching.

Well, this are the steps you must follow:
1- You must be root
2- You must have the application Root Explorer (get in the playstore or google)
3- Download the file EFS-SHVE210K.zip
4- Unzip
5- Copy the folder to your phone
6- Open Root Explorer and activate the option "mount r/o"
7- Copy the folder to the root of the phone and replace the old efs folder (make a copy of your EFS folder in case a problem arises)
8- Reboot
This has to fix the problem definitely.

[Q] Travelling to Indonesia. About CSC Codes
Hi,
I'm travelling to Indonesia this summer and want to use an Indonesian SIM whilst I am out there. Using GalaxSim, I can tell that my phone is network unlocked, however it says that CSC Lock is 'locked'. I live in the UK and know the CSC on my phone is BTU, as I has previously flashed with a BTU firmware.
So two questions,
a) What does CSC Lock 'locked' actually mean?
b) Will I be able to put an Indonesian SIM in with no issues?

hi. whats the latest one out? i am currently using l-droid which has great customization optinos but has only one problem. systemui fc every so often and i cant find a fix. apart from that the rom is great and everything works fine.

[Q] Do I need unroot to get stock rom?
Hello everybody
I am new in this forum so please don't hate.
I hade S3 with orginal branded system but it was very slow so i wanted to get orginal rom without branding. I gave my phone to my uncle and he roted it and instaled TWRP (teamwin), galaxy apps and namless rom. This rom is a custom room and it has a lot of problems like: sometimes camera isin't working, widgets are invisible, galaxy apps weren' working (so i made a mistake and deleted it and now other google apps like YT aren't working) and there are a lot of another bugs. I have Odin and orginal version of non branded system from SamMobile. My question is do I need to do unroot before pluging telephone to pc and using odin or this is unnessery? I am new in xda and I don't now much about programing and stuff like this. So please help me!!

Process of disabling bloatware
I have this phone and planning to freeze bloatware to begin with. Problem I'm getting is I don't really know which ones to freeze and which ones I shouldn't
I have TitaniumBackup. It doesn't highlight any of the 'critical' system apps which could rekh the phone. Only one I know I shouldn't disable is the "TouchWiz". There are bunch of 'applications' names in the 'system apps'. some are listed without an icon and just like "com.xxxxxx.xxxx". I don't know if these are safe to disable or not.
Anyone know an app which highlights the critical ones? I don't want to disable like the GSM or Display of the phone via Titanium Backup

matte back (sandpaper)
Hi guys
So a few days ago i broke the screen of my dear lg g2... it has become unusable so i decided to revisit my black samsung galaxy s3.
The back of my phone was all scratched and looked horrible, the bottom of of my back cover started to look matte because of all the scratches.
So i decided to remove the back cover and get some of the most fine sandpaper to sand the back and give it a "brushed" look. i took the sandpaper, removed the back and just went from left to right to make it matte. Be careful though because if you sand really hard on one place the white plastic could eventually show (look at the top of my backcover). It took me about 10 min and i am very pleased with the result !! But the sides of my phone were still glossy and scratched so badly the dark plastic beneath it started to show. i didn't want to completely scratch the screen so it took my sisters nail matter (or would ever it is could) and forcefully started rubbing the sides (did the same thing with my lg g2). The sides still look a bit glossy but a lot less than before . So if you got very fine sand paper and you are brave enough give it a try (or get a replacement first and try it on that one).

i with CM11 rom,something like 1 year..
i realy was happy with it,but now my battery runs down and i search for another rom.
i want something that look like CM11,a AOSP rom that when i install it this will be with root to..
i dont care if the launcher will be different but i want it be like and cm11 on reducation apps(samsung apps,google apps) and give me the option to download GAPPS etc...

Download link for STOCK Firmware
I have bricked my phone when trying to do a factory reset.
Now I need to flash a stock ROM.
I am trying to find the link to download the stock firmware. I have been searching for the past one hour,But still couldn't get a download link.
Since most of the download sites are banned here in India..Someone please provide me mediafire or any other site's link to download stock firmware.
Or,Is there any way to unbrick the phone without flashing STOCK ROM with ODIN?

How to check battery capacity/replacement batteries/failed batteries/
My trusted i9305 has done me proud over the past couple of years but over the course of the past year I've noticed a drop off in the battery life. My post comes in 3 parts, but if you think it's better I could break it up and post separately?
#1. Poor battery life.
I'm running the German 4.3 Stock ROM (I9305XXUEMK1) with the factory bootloader and the phone's rooted. Because I flashed the 4.3 ROM I can no longer use the OTA update option and in general I've been happy with keeping things super stable.
I'm using Nobloat to get rid of the bloatware, Allinonetoolbox to keep the number of apps that start on boot to a minimum and Greenify to keep the number of apps ticking over in the background to a minimum.
I have the stock battery, 4 Anker replacements and a cheap Samsung copy and swap between the batteries, charging using an Anker external wall charger from this pack Anker Batteries/charger
I've done a factory reset but that made no noticeable difference. When I check my battery stats there are no rogue apps draining the battery, its the screen that is always the most power hungry. I've run Wakelock detector and there seems nothing untoward there either.
I guess I could look at flashing the ROM again, but if I were to do this, does anyone have a suggestion of an alternative factory ROM? I'm not too worried about upgrading to Kitkat as I read lots about issues with battery life and with otg and sd cards, but I guess by now the latter issues should be resolved.

I've been wanting to check the actually capacity of my remaining S3 batteries but the only thing I can find that seems suitable is Nova Battery Tester, but that's no longer on the play store and the only links I can find come from websites that I don't like the look of - does anyone know where I could get the APK from or something similar that I could use. I know the batteries that I have will have a lower capacity now, but I'm wondering how low.
#3. Buying replacement batteries in the UK
I had 4 batteries die on me whilst traveling India for 5 months. They all had the tell-tale bulge so were disposed of. I don't know if it was an issue with the wall charger, the rather unstable power over there or the heat, or a combination of all 3! But now I'm down to just one Anker and one Samsung battery so if I'm to continue with my S3 I'd like to pick up another one or two replacements. I'd happily buy a genuine Samsung one if the price was right but I'm put off by all the Chinese copies out there. The only other option I've found are the Anker ones - I can't find Mugen batteries over here.
If I were to switch between the old batteries and a new one, would I benefit from from deleting the battery stats and sticking with the new one or will the phone be fine switching between them?
