my galaxy s3 gets heated up to 55°c while playing clash of clans using 3g network....i am on aosp 4.4.4 neat rom with archi kernel plus i have not overclocked any thing inside ..but whatever i try, which ever cpu governer i use while playing clash of clans after 5-10 minutes my phone gets overheated is that normal ????? if it's not then please help me :( :( :(

I remember the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S3 like it was yesterday. Forget the designed for humans" crap I was excited about the hardware offered in the phone: 4.7 super amoled display, gig of ram, 8 megapixel camera,expandable storage and the last goes on. Coming from the original galaxy, the technology had advanced so far that I could not wait to have it. Bought one on launch day and not was i happy. My inner nerd went crazy, and although i rarely post anything I read almost every post here on xda :eek: i learned so much that i was soon recommending this phone to everyone (even converted iphone and Windows phone users:D).
I enjoyed this phone so much that the first time it broke (water damage) i bought another one :cool: second time it broke (display damaged) I thought that my nerd super powers would kick in and i could repair it myself... Well two displays later and another broken S3 I broke down and bought another one :laugh: now i literally go everyday to and from work with 3 spare batteries (my brother in law bought a g3 so i got his s3 battery) i can not express how happy i am to have 400% battery power everyday. Not to mention that my SD card had saved on it, i realized that a swappable battery and expandable storage will always be my kryptonite. I've tried just about every rom and every tweak but it time for a new phone :crying: went out to the local stores here in Germany and guess what i saw? Yes you guessed it the Galaxy S6 and Egde :victory: let me say this "beautiful, thin and incredibly light" but that damn camera looks like a turkey on a Thanksgiving table! And no swappable battery or no expandable storage it was immediately out of the question for me.
I touched and caressed just about every other phone out there including the sexy z3 and the cold m8... They to were missing the sammy goodies ive grown to love. Then i had the note 4 and the note edge, nice really nice but way too big. Long story short I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A :cool: has everything that I need. The plastic build does not bother me at all "function over form". I really like this community and my favorite rom was fusion rom by dragon7780. He stopped developing back in September but stumbling in the S5 forums i found something with a lolipop http://fusion-rom.net/downloads/ have a nice time people and keep the forums clean from "when" posts ;)

[Q] galaxy s3 stock problem
hi guys don't know if this has been posted before so if so sorry..
my problem I have galaxy s3 i9300 which I have flashed custom roms many times..
now this time I got more brave and flashed different kernel..
so to start and help you guys i flashed Resurrection_Remix_KK_v5.1.5-20140609-i9300
thought the battery was going down to fast so flashed boeffla kernel correct version etc. thought it was a bit sluggish no offence intended..
so decided to flash stock kernel back which I got from boeffla site correct version for my phone..
now is were the fun started my phone rebooted into screen loop on resurrection screen.
oh and by the way I have no power button my mate tried soldering another and failed :(
so you can guess my fun anyways I got round this with usb jig, went into download mode and flashed stock rom back to phone, which I have done hundred times..
this time it would not boot at all I searched and searched for answers and managed CF-Root-SGS3-v6.0 which boots straight into recovery for a sec which helps with no power. now with this I wiped every thing cache etc then with the correct timing used toolkit to reboot etc etc anyways.
problem is now that when I flash stock it seems I still have resurrection in the background don't ask me how ?? but once stock flashed and rebooted i goto file system and its still emulated/0 file system which it isnt normally and the same wallpaper is there so weird. now to top it all my menu and wifi and back button will only work when I flash back to resurrection rom and not stock...
driving me nuts sorry for long essay but theres more and I needed to explain hope you can help...

[Xposed][Lollipop][5.0.x] Fix for Memory Leak
A temporary Xposed fix for part of Lollipop 5.0.x memory leak issues has just been released by tonyp.
It might be interesting for those of you running Lollipop ROMs and being annoyed by this issue.
According to tonyp, the Android 5.1 fix has already been implemented in CM12 for two weeks, so for those running CM12 nightlies there is no need to use this fix. The fix should therefore also be present in new versions of Lollipop CM12-based ROMs, but until then it could be a relief.
So feel free to test it and tell us if it shows improvements!

S3 I9300 constantly restarts can not start normally?
Hi,
I noticed a problem with Viber.
A few days ago the phone is rebooted and could not be turned on. I took the battery waited back and turned on the phone.
Today I decide to reinstall Viber.
So i do, but after that appears Logo "Samsung Galaxy SIII and 9300" then goes out and certainly help get this logo and all again.

[Q] Help me please bootloop [Solved]
my 2-year-old s3 stuck on boot loop at manufacturer. I try to remove battery and place it again, seem no randomly boot thus I can differential diagnosis rule out defective of power button. when I power on my phone, it stuck on bootloop. I can't enter recovery mode or download mode. I try to plug in the charger, it sponteneously boot(bootloop). I diagnose a degenerative of motherboard.
Anyone diagnose or advice me ?

i9300 CyanogenMod based rom problems
Hello with every single CM based rom I flash I constantly have the same problems. The problems I encounter are when you look at images on google when swiping through them the screen tears as if it is breaking up with with a weird rainbow type colour every time you swipe to a new image slightly hard to explain. Whenever I play a video on facebook you cannot rewind it and sometimes the sound doesn't follow with the video. It only happens on kitkat and lollipop based roms. I don't have these problems with jelly bean roms. Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? All help is appreciated thank you.

[Q] Battery died?
When my phone reaches 85-80% battery my screen starts to flicker and my phone turns off. When turning on i only have 1% battery left.
Battery is only 1 year old. Do i need to buy a new one?

Root.zip for stock recovery.

after i use ktool backup efs(samsung official 4.3 ZSUBNB1),i use recovery 6.0.4.5 to install cm11 m7 and google apps,after,my efs and baseband was show "unknown",so i went to odin mode to install ZSUBNB1,but when finish install,i have bootloop now ,help me plz!!!!thanks!!!:crying:

Regarding i9300 imei null after update to any custom rom

Yes i have red all the posts about imei regarding i9300.
With me i have a strange case. the problem is i have my phone on 4.3 firmware and took efs backup in all the ways possible.
i can downgrade to any stock firmware.. 4.1.2 4.2.2 too. but i cant update to cm12 or cm 11 because if i did update then my baseband becomes null and there is no imei.
but as soon as i flash 4.3 rom i can have my imei and baseband.
I restored efs backup on cm12 but it had no effect.
Any help here will be accepted.

Hey, I am searching for the best rom for my galaxy s3, I want android 5.0, I have used a lot of roms but I want good battery life and the most roms doesn't have that. Does anyone know a good rom with good battery life and that is fast and smooth? Thanks for help. or maybe anyone can help me with the battery problem, I have used a lot of tutorials on youtube about it but nothing seems to be working.

Hi guys,
after switching back from cyanogenmod to stock rom (via Kies) my 64GB phone claims to have only 16GB of internal memory. Obviously the internal sd-card was not partitioned properly. Unfortunately I neither found a proper pit file nor did I dump it in the first place. The only file I found (m3xx_i9305.pit) fails to repartition (without further explanation; but the phone still works).
Can someone who owns a 64GB S3 LTE dump a pit file for me? Probably as described on droidviews.com at how-to-extract-pit-file-from-samsung-galaxy-devices (can't post link)
