hi guys,

this is my first thread im writing, yesterday i solved the issue of my S3 i9300, which was showing me no internet connection and invalid imei (0042xxxxxx0000) from past month after i updated my phone to 4.3. so i am just writing this post so that u do not waist your month for finding out difficult mathods to get back ur signals and waste your time like i did.

i tried Ariza patch, didnt worked
i tried almost evry modem, didnt worked
i tried root explorer to restore my efs folder.. imei was back but signal didnt

so the thing worked for me was installing just two files through CWM and everything is perfect... :)

what you need before installing these two files is a Rooted ROM in your galaxy S3( 4.0.4 , 4.1.2, 4.2.2 or 4.3 this patch workes with all) international, and a coustom recovery CWM, TWR or any other, after downloading the two attachments put them in your sd crad, reboot your phone to recovery, flash these two zips and then reboot again.

70% chances are that you will have every thing ok. but still if you are having problem with your emie and so that to your signals it means ur efs folder is damaged, in such case do write down and ill upload a link to restore efs folder. hope this will work for you guys, sorry for my bad english.

Hi guys, I just sold my S3 LTE , as I cracked the screen and didn't want to repair it. I was looking for upgrade before that, so now the time has come.

I need a device that is a bit more rugged, not necessarily waterproof and so on... I read that the S4 is even more fragile though.
Anyway. I'd really love a high end device, so I don't have to upgrade it for the next 2 years.
I don't play games but do a lot of browsing, emailing and other work related stuff. I have good cameras so the camera on the phone just needs to be OK, but It should bebetter than the S3. I'm now using an iphone 5 and while it's a marelously well build and fast, I'm not quite sure I could deal with it's quirks. I've been on Android for almost 6 years, so you get what I mean.

I'm looking at :
LG G2 16GB
LG Nexus 5 16GB
Galaxy S4
Huaiwei Ascend P6
HTC ONE
Anything else you might recommend, except for Sony...

Hi,
Does anyone know how to enter the secret menu to disable H+/HSPDA and force the phone to use 3G ONLY? I'm on the latest Russian official rom and the codes I've found online do not work anymore.

Anyone managed to do this? thanks.

Hi.

I've got a Samsung S3 mini GI-8190 with broken usb port (charging works, no usb connection possible). Stock rom is Android 4.1.2 and device is not rooted.

(I tried all possible solutions for fixing the usb issue, but none worked for me. Cables, computers were changed with fresh installed windows. Wiped mobile and so on. Nothing happens after connection with cable, nothing on mobile, nothing on windows)

Is there a chance to root it (for installing cwm and custom roms over sd)?

My deodexed releases aim to be as-pure-stock-as-possible, just with a magic touch of being ready for all community modifications, such as theming, debloating, customizing and so on.
You should consider them as an alternative to official pure stock. Especially because they're CWM-compatible, which means that you don't need Odin in order to be up-to-date.
Notice to all developers: Feel free to use my deodexed release as a "base" for your ROM. I'm doing the same with ArchiDroid.

This is "No Wipe" ROM but I can't assure you that you won't run into problems without wiping. In case of issues - Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
This is a big rom, be patient during flahsing and booting.

why has the s3 lte knox with 4.3 and the normal s3 has it not and what is the diference between these two phones is the s3 lte better than the normal version

Hello People

Im in need of your help please!

The other night my battery went dead on my Samsung galaxy S3, after charging it fully, i tried to turn in on. However it was stuck in boot loop
So far i have tried everything, Ive tried

factory reset
clearing cache
putting it in download mode
taking the power button out
I downloaded kies and Odin to try and put the new firmware on, however my phone will only charge through the USB port and keeps saying windows does not reconigse the device as it is malfunctioned. I have installed all the drivers, tried computer at work, tried a different lead, but nothing!

Can anyone help me, are you able to put the firmware on through SD card as there is no way of me getting into the phone!

Hello friends.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 puts on the motherboard: GT I9300 2012. 03. 21.
No lights, no enter download mode, is not in recovery mode.
A pin of the battery reach 4.67v. but when I put the battery reach 0.02V.
I do not understand if it's a Hardbrick or what they call "sudden death" ...
What could be done to revive it?

What after S3, actually its sad that my Bluetooth and wifi are not working anymore that am forced to leave this amazing phone (i9300), for me I would go for Note 3 for great camera and amazing screen, and ofcourse S-pen, whats your choice?? and let me know why :good:

Can anyone recommend a good KitKat ROM that all the features, customization and excellent/good battery life and latest kernel. I've tried SlimKat ONLY problem this doesn't allow me to charge while the phone is in a switched off state that is only the 1 let down.

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong Forum or if it was answered already (im new here )

I just rooted and i flashed the wrong custom recovery causing a hard brick on my s3. Odin mode , download mode, charging, powering on , DONT WORK

I just need to get this thing in download mode and ill be Good

EDIT:I found a solution (i think) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2369125

But i dont have a linux is it possible to do this on a mac since the terminal of mac and linux are very alike. If so, can someone rephrase the steps using a mac instead of linux.
