Okay so for the last two weeks I have put myself on this case to find out why some people have bad performance of their batteries and why some don't even on roms that some say they have bad battery drain and some don't.
I've goggled this, asked people's opinions and did loads of tests with my Galaxy s3 to find out how to get the best performance of my battery and thought I'd share my findings.
Because the battery you have in your s3 has no memory you have to train your phone to know the exact consumption you have in your battery.
To do this you have to put your battery through a cycle, I do this by charging to 100% then to 1% and then back up again.
This trains your phone into knowing how much juice your battery has.
When flashing roms it is best to flash a rom at 100% then leave on charge for a few minutes as it saves time.
It's also best to do a cycle after flashing any rom.
If you flash a rom at 50% or in between 50% to 100% this confuses your phone and it doesn't know the full voltage of your battery so you might find when looking at your battery stats it gives two different readings and your battery will drain faster than normal.
I've also read to get the best performance it's best to do a few cycles.
Hope this helps some people and if you already know this then just ignore what I've said and have a nice day :)
Everything I've said I have tested and done research on because I was getting really upset with my battery performance.
Now I can relax and just enjoy my s3 :D
