AV sync on hardware decoding

Does anyone else experience AV sync issues with H.264 files on hardware decoding?

I don't remember noticing this in earlier versions (I'm on LJ4) but I'm not certain that it wasn't just by chance.

Whether using stock or a third-party player, if hardware decoding is enabled, the AV becomes unsynced (enough to notice and be annoying, but not enough to be sure in what direction it unsyncs though I think the video is delayed). However, if I switch to software decoding (on third-party players that support manually forcing it) the sync is perfect.

Stock player loses sync (can't turn off hardware accelerated decoding)
MX Player loses sync when HAD is turned on, but is fine with it turned off.
Mobo Player same as above (though turning off HAD is more difficult)
VLC maintains sync either way, but since it's still very much beta, it's completely possible that selecting hardware decoding is simply having no effect.

Anyone else been having this issue?
