I would like to share with you my experiment.
I'm really enjoying Samsung Galaxy S3 with Kitkat ROM and I'm really glad that developers from XDA forum keep this phone alive. Thank you all!
So I'm satisfied with inside of the phone, but I was not satisfied with the look of the phone. Especially plastic silver middle frame (bezel around the phone), which looks like metal (but really ONLY looks), turns me crazy, because silver painting starts to peel off. So I get idea to take all the paintings away. And here is the result :)
I just use sandpaper P600, paper tape for covering display glass and ethanol for final cleaning. I removed on/off button, volume buttons and battery cover and start to sanding it with sandpaper. It is important to be careful and don't be in a hurry. I recommend you to move with sandpaper along the phone because of the texture on the middle frame.
