Hey folks.. just after a wee bit of info here..
I recently flashed my GT-I9300 over to CM11-M5... didn't like it that much so I decided to reset the binary counter and then re-flash with a stock ROM..
Triangle away didn't reset the counter , so I used Odin and CF-Auto root, managed to get TA working and then I re-flashed to stock rom 4.1.2..
on checking over the settings I noticed that the cell number showing in the ABOUT DEVICE-STATUS-MY PHONE NUMBER was infact the number that I have had for years and that I ported over when I bought the S3, there used to be a different number showing in there (original number that was with the phone)..
so, will my warranty still be null and void even though I have reset the binary counter and have a stock rom on the phone... as surely the original phone number will be linked to the EMEI number???
hope I have made sense here.... :) , as I am an old fella and sense is something I am sadly lacking..:eek:
