[Q] Advice for first root/app for audio

I have the i9300 on jellybean, and am thinking of rooting this phone, purely for the reason, the audio is SO low when plugged into any AUX like the car, compared to anythibg else. Ive tried power amp, and other free apps. I have come across an app called beats audio which is supposed to be really good, but is advised that I take a nandroid and titanium backup as it cant be uninstalled. Has anyone else used this as its a general android app and not specifically for the S3, or can someone recommened another way for a first time root.
