RAM: What it is ? How it is managed ? And Why you shouldn't care about it ?

I see many people on xda posting ridiculous methods of freeing up Ram and frying the phone:D
I was once one of them, but its too much nuisance to tolerate when its again and again repeated, I found this very cool thread for noobs:
