[Q] Stock apps/binaries on CM 10.1

Can anybody tell me if the stock binaries/apps can be used when building a custom Cyanogenmod 10.1 ROM?
I just want to know if they are technically compatible or if Samsung or Cyanogen made something completely incompatible.
I'm referring to Camera/GPS/Radio binaries etc.
