[Q] Plex + Custom Rom

Hey,

I'm interested to hear how others have experienced Plex for Android when using a custom Rom - I'm currently using Omega v33.2 (XXELK4) 4.1.2 and the Siyah 1.8+ Kernel which has been for the most part excellent. However over the pass few weeks I have had trouble using Plex, especially connecting to my server. As much as I love this custom rom I'm seriously considering reverting back to stock purely for Plex support. How have others fared with using Plex? And is there something I can do to fix this issue short of reflashing?

EDIT: I'm almost certain this is a network problem as I can not correctly user my server on a friends Note 2, staff can trash this thread if they wish.
