exFAT - Orange (UK) S3

I was of the understanding that the S3 supported exFAT. I bought an S3 on Orange (UK) and a 64GB SDXC card, pre-formatted as exFAT, and couldn't get the phone to recognise it. I re-formatted as FAT32 and it worked fine.

From browsing these forums it seems Orange/Samsung firmware I9300BVALF4 removed exFAT support (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1812671

My question is, does anyone know if recently-released I9300BVLG1 re-adds support for exFAT?
